This funding supports B.C. First Nations bands, tribal councils, as well as Indigenous not-for-profit societies, and Indigenous-led museums and cultural spaces focusing on Indigenous cultural heritage. The grant supports projects that conserve, repair or develop Indigenous cultural heritage infrastructure. Examples of projects include the conservation of structures, cultural heritage sites, landscapes, trails and archives.
Timeline
The deadline to apply for this grant is November 12, 2020. The projects must be implemented between January 2021 and March 2023.
Funding
$100k-$400k per approved application.
