FPCC is supporting Indigenous artists and arts organizations to assist with changes in the arts sector. The Arts Vitality Micro-Grants program (formerly the Arts Micro-Grant) is accepting applications from Indigenous artists, collectives and organizations in B.C. to respond to unforeseen opportunities and circumstances, gain new skills and adapt to current changes in the arts and culture sector. This program provides one-time funding of up to $3,000 for individuals and collectives and $5,000 for Indigenous organizations or First Nations in B.C.
Eligibility
Please review the guidelines on the Arts Vitality Micro-Grants page for all eligibility information and application requirements. The Arts Vitality Micro-Grants support the following:
- Indigenous artists or members of collectives who are 19 years of age or older and are working in any artistic discipline in B.C.
- Indigenous organizations, societies, First Nations communities and arts collectives in B.C. that work across all art forms, including visual, music, dance and story.
- All applicants must read and agree to follow the FPCC COVID-19 Guidelines for Programs.
Timeline
Applications are open now and will be accepted on an ongoing basis until January 15, 2022 or until all funds have been awarded. Grants are intended for projects that will be completed within 3 months of when they are received.
