Funding Process

First Peoples’ Cultural Council delivers grants and programs that support Indigenous arts, language and heritage in B.C.

We are here to ensure that the funding application process is as easy as possible and offer a convenient online portal so applicants can more easily apply for programs and submit reports.

For most funding opportunities the process is the same.

Start here

Start your process by reviewing available programs on our website.

Each program page includes basic information. Funding opportunities that are open include an “apply now” button. Detailed guidelines help you to understand if a program is right for you, with information about eligibility, program objectives, timelines and more!

We are here to help!

If this may be the first time that you’ve submitted an application with FPCC, or if you have any questions about a program, please contact the program contact so we may assist you. We can help you to explore the different programs we offer and find the opportunity that is right for you.

Submit through the FPCC Grant Portal

We accept applications through the FPCC Grant Portal. The portal makes it simpler and faster for you to apply for funding and puts all your grant information at your fingertips.

Through the FPCC Grant Portal you can:

  • Track the progress of your application and submit progress reports online
  • Save your work as a draft until you are ready to submit.
  • Collaborate with team members on your drafts.
  • Post notes to FPCC staff for support and for answers to questions.

Help is only a click away in the FPCC Grant Portal with handy How-to Guides available from the user menu in the top right corner of any screen.

To access the Grant Portal and create a personal profile click here.

Peer review committees make funding decisions

After a program closes, external peer review committees review completed submissions and then make funding decisions. FPCC staff notify applicants of the results.
