This funding program supports new activities on a one-time basis that help to revitalize Indigenous heritage.

Project applications may support the performance, preservation or sharing Indigenous heritage, increase knowledge sharing with Elders, or assist in the development of cultural heritage skills in Indigenous communities. This program is funded by the Heritage Branch of BC.

Indigenous Heritage Micro-Grants are for organizations in B.C. with a mandate or a focus that includes Indigenous heritage. This can include First Nations bands and tribal councils, First Nations schools, daycares and adult education centres and not-for-profit societies registered in B.C. that are in good standing and with more than half of the directors identifying as Indigenous.

We are here to help!

If you have any questions or would like assistance with your grant application please contact the program staff listed at the bottom of this page. FPCC staff are available to answer questions about grant eligibility, project proposal ideas, what activities are permitted during COVID-19 restrictions, which program or grant may be best for your project and more.
